Button Exchange
Exhibition at The Crocodile by Jason Fulford, November 2024 - April 2025
This was an exhibition that was experienced by people who came across the photographer and publisher Jason Fulford in person. He carries a bag around with him that contains one solo exhibition at a time, which he shares with people he meets in his daily life.
People were invited to participate by allowing one of the buttons on their clothing to be removed and replaced with a button from the previous participant. The new button is sewn on carefully with red thread. This process is repeated with the next participant. Sixty buttons were exchanged, one person at a time.
