2013 / found newspaper clippings collection, custom shelf, plexiglass, mirror, glass / 20" x 14" x 6"

A found collection of yellowed newspaper snippets presented sandwiched between Plexiglass, held a few inches over a mirror. The reverse side of the newspaper snippets is shown uppermost, revealing a second and accidental collection of seemingly specifically composed but arbitrary newspaper fragments; prices separated from products, orphaned words, a zip on a coat, a glimpse of a bunch of grapes. The intended collection of Pittsburgh Steelers insignia is revealed in the reflection..
